AUTHORS OF THE APO DIGITAL SYSTEM
The Sistema APO Digital was designed and built by professors and students of the undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism, Design, Visual Arts and Computer Science at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). The overall coordination of this project was the responsibility of profª. Dr Simone Barbosa Villa, from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism and Design. The brief description of the Group of authors is segmented into three teams, according to the field of work.

POST- OCCUPANCY EVALUATION
The APO SYSTEM name was chosen to identify the DIGITAL computer system developed for the application and management of After. Consists of five computer programs called:
-WEB: Web application DIGITAL APO designed to enable the creation and management of After already performed, and query processing.
-MY FLAT: application for mobile devices, which implements a specific PDB related to way of living in apartments;
-How DO YOU LIVE?: application for mobile devices, which implements an APO extended to homes and apartments;
-APO HIS: application for mobile devices, which implements an APO for social housing schemes;
-RES APO: application to mobile device, which implements an APO to assess the resiliency and adaptability in the built environment.
The Sistema APO Digital is the result of a research developed at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism and Design from Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU/FAUeD), at [MORA] Housing Research Group, about Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) in houses with the use of digital interfaces. The main objective of this research was the development of a set of functional, behavioural and environmental post-occupancy evaluation methods in dwellings through the design of a computer system and the use of digital interfaces specifically developed. The creation of this computer system and digital interfaces used was held in partnership with the Faculty of Computer Science from the Federal University of Uberlândia (FACOM/UFU).
This research intended to:
make the POE process in housing more efficient through the use of electronic equipment (laptop, tablet, personal digital assistants);
present reflections on the use of digital tools for POE research;
discuss the possible interfaces between man and the digital environment in the scope of POE research;
develop functional prototypes and finally a platform (composed of several integrated and complementary software) compatible with the objectives of the proposed POE;
apply the research in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, as a pilot.
The use of digital interactive interfaces also had the purpose to satisfy the idea of friendliness in the POE data collection, through the application of concepts such as:
usability: ease of use (physical and cognitive effort) and learning of operations present in the system (without the expense of efficiency and productivity) and satisfaction level of the user responding the POE;
applicability: the ability of the system to clearly present the POE issues and properly register the answers given;
communication skills: communication, to the respondent, of the principles and intentions that guided the interactive design, allowing the user to understand and use the system through an effective, productive and creative manner.
