This research’s objective was the development of a Post-Occupancy Evaluation of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida programme focusing on functional, behavioural and environmental aspects, as well as analysis of data obtained in order to subsidize future improvements in the quality of the housing programme. As part of the research was elaborated a pilot in the city of Uberlândia, MG. The results of this research indicate that the broad knowledge of the issues relating to living – involving the public, private and collective scales – are more than necessary, in order to promote concepts, guidelines and parameters for more assertive projects.
OBJECTIVES
Research financed by IPEA (Institute of Applied Economic Research) in the context of the for the National Development Research (PNPD) Subprogramme from the National Competency Mobilization Program for Development Studies (PROMOB). The methodological procedures developed, as well as the results obtained in this pilot POE, corroborate for this tool replication at a national level, contributing effectively to the improvement of housing, the city and therefore the quality of life of Brazilians’ participants of the MCMV programme.
